I spent the day Sunday at the Haverford Spring Fest. The 1st time for the spring event which was sponsored by iradiophilly.com. Last year we were at the fall Haverford Music Festival and had a great time talking to people about our organization and about housing and employment and vocational training. This year was no different.
This year I brought chalk and bubbles and bead bracelet-making material for the children who attended the festival. This was a big hit and many parents thanked me for doing this.
I also got a chance to speak with some families who are concerned about the future of their child or grandchild. It emphasized again that parents and families are looking for help in making decisions about where their loved one will live as they get older.
